Included with the plaque
The slideshow their plaque plays
You make it from their photos in your browser, and it plays on the page the plaque opens. Here is what the editor does for you.
Add old prints with your phone
Take one photo of several prints at once. We crop and straighten each one into its own photo, and you check them all.
Family adds theirs with one link
They open it on their phones and add what they have. It goes straight into the slideshow.
Put them in order by age
Sort by age suggests youngest to oldest, and you check it first. Move any photo where you like.
Photos and video clips together
From your phone or computer, in any mix. Each clip keeps its own sound.
The people stay in the frame
When a photo is cropped to fit, the people in it stay in view, and you can check every one.
Watch it all before you pay
It plays in your browser as you add photos, start to finish.
Themes
Choose the feel of their slideshow
A theme is the backdrop, the motion and the music behind their photos. Try a few.

After a long battle with the old video editing software I used back in 2016 when my father in law passed, [...] There is no way I could have had this done in time for his family viewing without your support today.
The slides and the songs are beautiful. They set the stage for people sharing, opening up, intimate honesty rolling out from friends, family and caregivers at the memorial. [...] This slideshow knits us forever through him.
Frequently asked questions
What happens when someone scans it?
Their phone opens the memorial page: their slideshow, their name and dates, and their obituary if you added one. It opens right there at the stone, with nothing to install and no account. The web address is etched under the code too, for a visitor who would rather type it.
Is the slideshow included?
Yes. The plaque comes with a slideshow you make from their photos, set to music, and it is what plays on the page the plaque opens. You make it in your browser, add photos and short videos from your phone or computer, and watch it all before you pay for the two together.
Can we add an obituary?
Yes. When you make the plaque there is a place to write one, and it shows on the page it opens. It is optional; the page carries their name, dates and photos either way. To change it later, write to hello@myembrance.com.
Which photo is etched?
The one you choose for it while you make the plaque, and the preview shows the plaque with that photo on it as you go. If that photo is too small to etch clearly, a photo from their slideshow that is large enough takes its place, and the preview shows which. If none is large enough, the plaque carries the code and its address alone.
How is it attached, and will it last outdoors?
A strong outdoor adhesive on the back holds it to the stone. Anodized aluminum takes rain, sun and frost, and the etch is cut into the metal, so it cannot rub off.
Which color shows the photo best?
The etch comes out as bright bare metal, so the darker colors show it best, and Black gives the sharpest contrast. The preview shows each color as it will look.
How much is it?
The plaque and their slideshow are $128.99 together, with the page it opens. You pay once, after you have watched the slideshow. If you would rather we made the slideshow, that is $349, and the plaque is offered on its page when it is ready, for $49.
Can I order a plaque for a slideshow we already have?
Yes, for a memorial slideshow. Open the slideshow's page from the link in your email, and the plaque is offered under the film.
